Husqvarna M40 – Wartime Dated and Marked – All Original w/ Holster

Description.

This is an extremely rare find we are thrilled to offer, this Husqvarna M40 is an all-original, all-matching World War II dated and stamped production pistol that comes complete with the original holster, cleaning kit, combination adjustment and magazine loading assistance tool, and two spare magazines (total of three).

This grouping was imported by us and appears to have come directly from the officer it was all originally issued to during the Second World War! Talk about a time capsule. This pistol, serial number 23718, is marked with a crowned SS at the rear denoting it was inspected and approved by Swedish Army officer Sture Stenmo who ran the Eskiltuna army storage facility until the end of March 1946. This is an opportunity to secure a piece of history that is nearly a century in the making and to enjoy a war-time production pistol that is still in good and shootable condition.
