Description.

The Husqvarna M/40 is essentially a clone of the third series Finnish Lahti L-35. These pistols entered Swedish service in 1940 and lasted well into the late Cold War as a standard-issue sidearm for Swedish forces and reservists. This particular example has just been imported and is marked with legal but subtle marks to preserve its value. Pistol is in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition and includes one original Swedish magazine. This pistol, serial number 23718, is marked with a crowned “SS” at the rear denoting it was inspected and approved by Swedish Army officer Sture Stenmo who ran the Eskiltuna army storage facility until the end of March 1946. This is an opportunity to secure a piece of history that is nearly a century in the making and to enjoy a war-time production pistol that is still in good and shootable condition.

Pistol is marked with covert but legal Citizens Armory Imports import marks.
